Seven Ways to Help
Yourself to a Better and Longer Life

Eat a plant based diet.
(eat MOSTLY fruits and vegetables, and limited dairy). Eat
fish 2 times a week, tofu 2 times a week, red meat (and
other animal based proteins) MUCH less often. (red meat once
a month YIKES!) Limit alcohol consumption to moderate
levels.

Do Low intensity exercise EVERY day for over
30 minutes. Make this As important as eating and
sleeping..Vary your exercise.

Surround yourself with friends and family,
befriend your neighbors (create a positive and supportive
social structure).

Discover, build, and maintain a sense of
lifelong purpose. Consider NOT retiring, but continuing
purposeful labor into your golden years.

Lift weights 2 times a week.

Learn something completely new, and alien to
you (take up an instrument, Learn math, not you Heinrich!, a
new language) continue learning at ever Increasing levels.

Let your mind wander a couple of times a day,
practice optimism, reduce your personal stress, take
personal time to relax/meditate. If you are depressed, seek
treatment.
